Climate & Health Africa Conference

Watch this video about the Climate & Health Africa Conference, hosted by CeSHHAR Zimbabwe in collaboration with the Zimbabwean Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife and the Ministry of Health and Childcare, which aimed to address the urgent need to tackle the detrimental health impacts of climate change on health and wellbeing in Africa.

Streamed live on 29 October 2024, the conference ran for over four hours and brought together researchers, policymakers, and health practitioners from across the continent to shape the response to climate-driven health risks — a gathering that would go on to produce the Harare Declaration on Climate and Health.
